About the summer school

The International Summer School on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) is a forum for you if you are an early career researcher (PhD or post-doc) and want to deepen your understanding of CSCW as a research field and community.

The school consists of a pre-study period followed by an intensive one-week onsite event (often the last week of August) where you will engage with senior CSCW scholars and other course participants.

Our participants rate the school as an enriching and demanding experience that creates lasting personal bounds.

The CSCW summer school is organised by the European Society for Socially Embedded Technologies (EUSSET). The school was first organized in 2015 in Como, Italy. Links to earlier editions of the school can be found on the school’s EUSSET page.
